One of the most important things you need to remember is that becoming a foster carer involves the whole family. It is therefore essential that all members of the household are aware of, and happy with the commitment to fostering. The assessment process is designed to help you, your family and us to be confident that fostering is the right choice for you. Throughout the assessment process you will be given information to help you in making this decision and if at any stage you feel that fostering is not for you, we want you to let us know.
